Wollaston Lake, located in the wilds of Saskatchewan’s rugged northern frontier, is home to Minor Bay Lodge. Wollaston Lake has long been renowned for its unparalleled trophy pike ... morefishery – Canada’s freshwater barracuda.

Minor Bay Lodge offers top drawer service, comfortable accommodations, quality equipment and matchless dining experiences in a pristine wilderness setting. To quote first time guest Larry Seidler of San Francisco: “Wollaston Lake is an incredible place and Minor Bay Lodge was very well run. My guide was one of the best I have ever had in twenty-five years of fly fishing. I shall certainly return…..”.

Minor Bay’s professional guides’ focus is on providing their guests with the best angling experience possible. Whether you are a novice or a seasoned angler, the lodge’s experienced, professional guides, with their intimate knowledge of Wollaston’s sport fish, be it pike, lake trout, walleye or Arctic grayling, will elevate your fishing vacation into a sublime experience.

Whether sight fishing the shallow bays right after ice-out, or position casting over weed beds during Wollaston’s brief summer, anglers have enjoyed unsurpassed success in their quest for trophy quality pike. Pike in excess of 50” in length and weighing over 40 pounds have been caught and released by both novice and experienced fly fishers alike.

While Minor Bay is remote, it is nevertheless readily accessible from all major U.S. cities, with Delta and Air Canada/United servicing Saskatoon with several flights daily. From Saskatoon it’s a pleasant 1-3/4 hour charter flight to an airport near the lodge.

The lodge’s capacity has been intentionally limited to just 18 guests to ensure personalized, friendly service, a relaxed atmosphere and limited fishing pressure. With exceptional staff, facilities and equipment as well as an outstanding natural resource, Minor Bay Lodge is the preferred choice for discerning anglers.

3 Rivers Adventures – Hunting in Alberta, Canada Providing some of the best guides and premiere hunting, 3 Rivers Adventures offers Mule Deer, Whitetail Deer, Bear, Elk, predator, ... moreand bird hunts in the beautiful outdoors of Alberta Canada. Choose the hunting experience you prefer and learn why so many satisfied hunters have chosen 3 Rivers Adventures as their outfitter of choice.

About Us
Hi, I am Corey Jarvis, owner of 3 Rivers Adventures, I was born and raised in Southern Alberta

Since the early 1980s, I have spent a great deal of my spare time hunting, trapping, fishing and exploring the very area where our outfitted adventures take place today. We have successfully guided hundreds of hunters and 2013 will mark our 18th year in operation.

My love for the outdoors led me to pursue a university education in wildlife management. The knowledge gained from my studies helped to greatly improved my understanding of the resident wildlife. For those who hunt with Three Rivers Adventures, this is obviously a valuable asset.

Annually, I spend hundreds of hours filming, photographing and observing the animals in my guide areas. Learning their habits and territories is a major factor in the extremely high success rates of our clients.

Southern Alberta is primarily private land. Knowing the landowners, and having a mutual trust, is of major importance to a successful hunt. My respect for the area and the landowners, has helped gain some excellent land access in these areas.

Last, but certainly not least is the friendly, hard working treatment that you will receive when hunting with me and my 3 Rivers staff. Every effort is made to make your trip a successful and enjoyable experience. You’ll be welcomed as a friend, and made to feel at home. Your success as a hunter, and comfort as a guest are the two unwavering priorities by which we operate.

We like to say “it’s easy to get here, but it’ll be hard to leave!”

As professional outfitters, we’ve been providing top notch full-service hunts since 2001. In fact, Kevin has been a big game guide since 1992. Both licensed guides, we take great pride ... morein helping you, our guests, achieve your goals in the outdoors.

We are both passionate about hunting giant deer, predators, and bighorn sheep. While we especially enjoy bowhunting, we do our fair share of muzzleloader and rifle hunting as well.

Alberta Hunting Adventures (AHA) specializes in trophy whitetails, mule deer, coyote hunting and black bear hunting. In 2016, we sold our waterfowl business (Venture North Outfitting) and now operate under the brand Alberta Hunting Adventures, a division of EcoRec Enterprises Ltd.

Born and raised in Alberta, we live the outdoors lifestyle and are active in several aspects of the outdoor industry. Long-time members of the outdoors media, we are co-hosts of Canadian Outdoorsman TV, seminar speakers, and outdoor writers with works published in over 30 of North America’s top hunting and fishing print and online magazines. As writers, TV personalities, professional outfitters and guides, we’ve had the privilege of traveling internationally to experience professional hunting services across North America and abroad. As such we’ve learned what works, what clients like, and how to best help you - our guests - achieve your goals. We believe in professionalism and we see our business as more than just hunting. Customer service is our priority and we consider it an honour to help make our clients’ dreams a reality.

Welcome to Sandy Lake Lodge, Newfoundland Canada Sandy Lake Lodge enjoys a healthy population of moose, caribou and bears in the area surrounding its quiet and tranquil location. Not ... morefar away, the spring bears start looking for a free meal towards the end of May or first of June, depending on how late the winter hangs on.

One can take a brief stroll to the lakeside in the early morning as the mist is slowly receding and catch a limit of tasty brook trout for breakfast.

In the spring, the many brooks and streams flowing through the valley floors, bring new life to the bogs and swamps which provide food and cover for the wild animals. As the days lengthen and the temperature rises, new growth starts springing up all around. The rabbits, beavers and birds are very busy this time of the year; the whole Island seems to come alive... and what an experience for the family to witness!

As fall approaches, and the mating season begins, many animals can be seen from this same stretch of shoreline, either walking around the edge of the lake or swimming from one side to the other.

Because at the present time the woodland caribou in our area are under study, we can only observe and enjoy this beautiful and majestic animal from a distance (hopefully their numbers will return to a level that will allow the season to re-open).

From the beginning of the of the hunting season till the end of fall, hunters from many other parts of North America come to this beautiful part of Canada to harvest their trophy moose. For some that starts in early September with a bow and others choose to come during or after the rut when the larger boys come out to play.

Every day brings a new adventure packed with memories that will be embedded in the minds of our guests forever.

About the Sandy Lake Lodge area...

As the last of the berries fall off of the frost bitten bushes, a thick blanket of white fluffy snow steadily starts to cover the barren land and slowly bring all living things to a halt. This is the time of year when "the rock" as it is referred to, turns into a winter playground for snowmobiles, ice fishermen, sight-seers and photography enthusiasts.

A camera is a very important piece of equipment on any trip, but in this land... it is a necessity. One only has to look left or right, ahead or back, to realize that our God above took special care when He put this work of art together. I also think that He created it so all could enjoy it, in one capacity or another.

We at Sandy Lake lodge hope that you and your family and friends will decide to come and experience the beauty of Newfoundland. We would also be honoured if you would allow us to show you this treasure from our prospective. Come and see why people return to this destination year after year. Come and taste the hospitality of the ROCK.

Something to think about

It does not seem possible that the time we have been waiting for is almost upon us. Some of you will be spending so much time preparing for your trip that no doubt it will end up being filled with stress and possibly a little overwhelming.

I can almost guarantee you that some things leading up to your long awaited week of hunting will not turn out to be 100% as you have wished for.

Like you, we here at Sandy Lake Lodge, are not in total control of everything in and around our hunting area. Example weather and temperature play a big part in whether or not you are successful and we have no control over either.

We are also visitors in this beautiful landscape and as hard as we try most times the wildlife have the upper hand. Hopefully you will be able to unwind a little bit and put the little things behind you that will have no bearing on your hunt when the week has come to an end.

You will be excited to know that when your week of hunting begins, each of you will be guided by not one but two keepers of this beautiful land. The first being your hunting guide whom is very excited to get started on your adventure. All of the guides are very knowledgeable of your hunting territory and we are proud to say that they are professional at what they do best and that is finding you animals. For some of you it may be the first day of your hunt but probably not everyone. That’s okay. Your chances are very good that by weeks end you will be successful at taking your trophy. How big will that trophy be? The answer to that question will be answered when you pull the trigger. Each person has different expectations. For most it is not about the spread of the horns or the number of points but more about the thrill of the hunt.

If you are only booking your hunt at the Lodge with the hope of adding a moose to your trophy room, then you will miss out on what could be the best and most cherished part of your trip. Your second guide you will encounter only if you are receptive and sensitive to her presence. She will fill your heart with joy and humble you to the point that you just want to be lost in the moment forever. She has a way of exploring your soul and understanding what you are seeking to find. She will bring youto a place that you understand what you are feeling cannot be captured on a camera but you have to experience in person. Mother Nature is good at what she does but you must allow her to shower you with her blessing. The sights, sounds and smells can be many and very different to each individual. I hope each day is an adventure for you and that you go home fulfilled in your quest but homesick for what you have experienced. Most of our clients come to visit Sandy Lake Lodge with a moose on their mind but return as friends and wanting to spend more time in the solitude of the greatness which God has created. We hope you will enjoy your week and shoot straight.

And now a few words from our guests...

“We’ve had a fantastic hunting trip once again. As always the food, friends [old & new] were fantastic. Our guide Russel was wonderful, knowledgeable and just a great guy to hunt with. We enjoyed our entire time. Thanks to Anna, Deb, Dick, Jason for everything. I won’t forget our day trip with Si and Rose, picking berries, scouting for bears. He gave us an education as did we Vise Versa… Thanks for everything.
— Kirby & Jeanie

“Had a great time again, hate to leave. Food was good and I think that I gained weight. Can’t wait to come back. My cheeks are still sore from laughing. Feels like I’m leaving my family.
— Bruce

“What a fine place to be, good food, friends, and fun. I thank Jason who guided us – what a guy. The cooks Anna and Deb, wonderful ladies. Lots of good things to say about this place

MANOTAK LODGE  A four-star fishing lodge with a reputation for fantastic trophy fishing, quality accommodations, excellent meals and friendly service. Nestled on the shores of beautiful ... morePerrault Lake are modern guest cottages, accommodating from two to twelve each. We immaculately maintain our buildings, grounds, and boats, while our proficient staff takes care of your every need.

We offer several packages including our American Plan, Evening Meal Plan and Housekeeping Plan.

We offer our industry leading boat rental package offering the fisherman all the state of the art equipment to catch fish along the 50 miles of Perrault Lake shoreline. For anyone interested in Ontario cabin rentals and trophy fishing, we hope you’ll choose the modern and comfortable vacation accommodations at Manotak Lodge!

FANTASTIC FISHING ON BEAUTIFUL PERRAULT LAKE

Fish for Walleye, Northern Pike, Smallmouth Bass, Whitefish, Perch and Muskie. Perrault Lake has over 50 miles of shoreline and is directly connected to Cedar Lake that has an additional 67 miles of shoreline. Both lakes provide excellent fishing. We provide contour maps of both Perrault Lake and Cedar Lake that illustrate water depths, underwater structure and other helpful information. Steve will advise you of the current hot spots and will assist you with your choice of lures and rigging.

For those wanting more adventure, we offer day trips to our remote lake locations; we have an outstanding Muskie only lake where the average day is to catch 3 to 5 Muskies and have 10-15 follows. If you prefer we can also arrange for a daily fly-out to a remote wilderness lake where the Walleye, Northern Pike, and Smallmouth Bass fishing is some of the best in the world.

The fishing season begins in mid May. When the ice melts, the shallows are the warmest and the fishing action is fast and furious for all species. Most fish seek cooler water in mid July; you will have to adjust down for them. As fall approaches in late August, the surface water starts to cool down. Bass and Walleye concentrate and when you find them, it will provide some of the best fishing ever. Remember too that late August and September are trophy Muskie time. Fall is also when the Whitefish move into shallow water.
